As part of the World Weavers Program, 6th graders travelled to the Art Institute of Chicago to explore the many textiles on display at the museum, including a visit to a special exhibit by Ethel Stein who is a master weaver. The students adeptly utilized their art vocabulary as they discussed each piece they experienced with both our artist-in-residence Mr. Eller and another Urban Gateways artist Ms. Yun.
