2nd Quarter Overview - 4th and 5th Grade General Music
Topic Description: Our focus will be on reviewing musical concepts learned in previous years in order to build a basis of content knowledge. Students will be using the recorder to explore these concepts.

4th and 5th grade students will need a recorder for music class; these are available for purchase from Mr. Marsland for $5.00 (cash only, please)
If your child brings his or her recorder home, please ensure they keep it in a safe place, and remember to bring it to school on the day they have music class. Ask your child to perform a song on the recorder that they learned in class. Encourage your child to look up songs to learn on the recorder using the Internet/YouTube. Ask your child about his or her participation in our annual Holiday Assembly on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 9am in the Auditorium! |
