7th grade students will be given permission to use their iPods/mp3 players in music class for the entire quarter. Students may only use these devices during music class; use of them during other unapproved times of the school day will result in an infraction in accordance with the Student Discipline Code.
Ask your child about the type of music he or she enjoys listening to. Discuss the type of music you enjoyed listening to when you were a teenager. Discuss how music affects their study habits; does your child prefer to study and do homework in silence, or does listening to music help them focus? |
